Inebriation 101 - Drunkeness of the Times

Amarula

In honor of my lone follower and professional double almond thumper, Jennifer, I thought I would post a quick hit for Friday. Drinks. A couple of the liquor stores in TitleTown ACTUALLY have this spirit in stock. The name of it is Amarula. It is made from the South African Marula fruit and if you or your spouse (most likely), is a fan of Bailey's Irish Cream, well, this stuff is kinda similar. Therefore, it should be a hit at your next party or African Batmitzvah(??).

The beverage is easily mixable, and the website has a 76 page PDF file that contains pictures and mixing instructions. The liqeuer is normally associated with Elephants. The company is a supporter of elephant conservation and has been known to give trinkets of elephants away with bottles. Elephants are supposedly noted for eating the fermented marula fruit and have their own drunken party. National Geographic has disproved the theory, but it sounds much funnier just saying "drunken elephants."

Anyhow, Jen, try it out, not that costly and it makes a pretty good drink called the French Toast, sans eggs, how can that not be good?

See the drunken elephants here. Pay particular attention the dry humping about 1:12 minutes in.
